What is Light Therapy?

Light therapy has been used for many years, both for wound healing and to improve mood. The same principles are used in the field of photobiomodulation - with research showing great promise in its ability to increase brain metabolism and remediate cognitive decline. This therapy is considered non-invasive and side-effect-free.

What is Neurofeedback?

Neurofeedback is a way of rewarding the brain to improve function. Gray Matters uses the most advanced form of neurofeedback, called swLORETA, which rewards improvements in specific brain areas and connectivity. Gray Matters leads the field in this approach, using comfortable, gel-free caps for a better experience.

Light therapy and neurofeedback are two promising approaches that have been explored for enhancing cognitive function. Both light therapy and neurofeedback have gained attention for their non-invasive and relatively low-risk approaches to enhancing cognitive function. However, it’s important to note that the effectiveness of these techniques can vary from person to person, and they should be used under the guidance of qualified professionals.

Gray Matters is extending exclusive pricing to clients of Always Caring of Connecticut for both evaluations and treatments. For our in-home clients, the initial evaluation is priced at $495, with sessions available for neurofeedback at $195 each, and for light therapy at $50 each. Following the evaluation, a dedicated professional will craft a personalized treatment plan for you.

Gray Matters is working with other leading clinics around the U.S. to study the benefits of advanced neurofeedback and photobiomodulation for the treatment of ADHD. Study design and analysis are a collaboration with the Faculty of The Yale School of Medicine. https://graymatters.com/current-research-adhd/
